Job summary

AUSactive in Bondi Junction is seeking an experienced Club Manager to lead a high-performing fitness club with strong sales momentum and an engaged community. You will own the club’s commercial performance, member experience, and day-to-day operations.

You’ll drive membership sales, retention and engagement, coach a capable team, and build local partnerships while maintaining top standards across rostering, compliance and systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Club Manager or senior fitness sales leader.
• Strong track record of membership sales and revenue targets.

Club Manager - Fitness | Bondi Junction

This is an opportunity to lead an established, commercially successful fitness club with strong sales momentum, a capable team and a highly engaged community.

It is a busy, fast-moving environment that requires an experienced Club Manager who can stay ahead of the detail, lead confidently and maintain consistently high standards.

You’ll be commercially driven and strong in sales, but your ability to retain members, develop your team and create an exceptional club experience will be equally important.

The Opportunity

You will take ownership of the club's commercial performance, team leadership, member experience and day-to-day operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Driving membership sales, lead conversion and revenue performance
• Owning key club metrics, including sales, retention, attrition and team results
• Developing strategies that improve member engagement and long-term retention
• Leading, coaching and creating accountability within an established team
• Maintaining a visible presence across the club and building genuine relationships with members
• Keeping operations highly organised across rostering, compliance, presentation and systems
• Building local partnerships and community initiatives
• Reporting on performance and acting quickly when opportunities or issues arise

About You

You are an experienced fitness leader who thrives in a high-volume environment. You are commercially sharp, highly organised and comfortable being accountable for the full performance of a club.

You will bring:

• Proven experience as a Club Manager, General Manager or senior fitness sales leader
• A strong record of achieving membership sales and revenue targets
• Demonstrated success improving member retention and reducing attrition
• The ability to lead, coach and hold a team accountable
• Strong systems, reporting and organisational capability
• A hands-on leadership style and high personal standards
• A genuine commitment to service, community and member experience
• Confidence interpreting club data and turning insights into action
• Applicants must be an Australian/NZ citizen or permanent resident

This role is best suited to an established operator who can step into a successful club, earn the confidence of the team and lead from day one.
