Job summary

RAC WA is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build and maintain cloud-native solutions across a modern stack in Azure. You will drive quality with end-to-end testing and embed DevOps practices while engaging with users and stakeholders to capture real needs.

You'll contribute to frontend, backend and integration design, ensuring high availability and resilience with clear RTO/RPO targets, in a hybrid work setup with opportunities for growth across WA sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related field.
• Experience designing, architecting and building software systems.
• Strong track record with cloud-native architectures on Azure.
• Hands-on with Terraform, ARM templates and PowerShell.
• Experience implementing robust CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and build solutions to real business challenges with intuitive experiences.
• Architect and manage cloud resources on Azure with performance, availability and cost in mind.
• Own end-to-end testing across unit, integration, performance and functional tests.
• Shape standards, automate pipelines and embed DevOps practices across the team.
• Engage with users and stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
• Contribute to end-to-end solution design across frontend, backend and integration.
• Ensure systems remain available and resilient with meaningful RTO and RPO targets.
