Job summary

NCS Australia is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and optimise our next-gen products. You will work across .NET microservices, cloud-native tech, and DevOps practices to deliver community impact across transport and mobility networks.

You'll collaborate with a Product Manager and Engineering Lead in an agile environment to deliver high‑quality features each sprint, covering back-end APIs and modern front-end UIs with secure, testable, scalable code.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a software product environment using Scrum, DevOps, and continuous delivery.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET for building microservices and business logic.
• Experience with AWS core services.
• Experience with REST, JSON, and modern API patterns; exposure to gRPC or Protobuf is essential.
• Experience with containerisation (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and messaging technologies (RabbitMQ, Redis) is desirable.
• Experience with git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as GitLab.
• Comfortable in both Windows and Linux development environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack solutions across back-end microservices and front-end interfaces.
• Build microservices and distributed components aligned with our reference architecture.
• Deliver features in sprints within an agile product team with ownership.
• Apply secure development, peer code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Contribute to documentation, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
• Assist with product rollouts, troubleshooting, and deployments to customers.
