Job summary

NCS Australia is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and optimise modern products. You’ll work across a .NET microservices stack, cloud-native technologies, and robust DevOps practices to deliver community impact across transport and mobility networks.

You’ll collaborate with a Product Manager and agile team to deliver high‑quality features in sprints, developing both backend services and intuitive front-end interfaces with a focus on reliability and CI/CD-driven delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in a software product environment using Scrum, DevOps, and continuous delivery.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET for building microservices and business logic.
• Experience with AWS core services
• Experience with containerisation (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and messaging technologies (RabbitMQ, Redis) is desirable.
• Familiarity with REST, JSON, and modern API patterns; exposure to gRPC or Protobuf is a plus.
• Experience with git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as GitLab.
• Comfortable in both Windows and Linux development environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimise the next generation of products across a .NET microservices stack.
• Collaborate with Product Manager, Engineering Lead and agile team to deliver features each sprint.
• Develop and maintain full-stack solutions from back-end services to front-end UI.
• Apply secure development, peer code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD-driven delivery.
• Contribute to architecture and documentation to uplift engineering capability.
