Job summary

You will drive day-to-day operations, recruit and develop staff, and partner with clinicians to deliver seamless patient experiences across a busy public hospital.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in administrative functions within a large public hospital.
• Experience leading a team including recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
• Extensive knowledge of Medicare Billing rules and ensuring compliance.
• Proven ability to deliver a quality customer service experience.
• Experience with process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the administration team of 24.
• Oversee reception, patient bookings, medical records, billing and secretarial support.
• Review and improve processes to create more efficient, patient-focused workflows.
• Manage rostering, invoices and procurement across systems like Oracle Financials, HPRM/HPE and rostering platforms.
• Support video-consultation models of care in partnership with the Operations Manager.
