Job summary

RSL Care SA in Murray Bridge seeks a Clinical Nurse to provide clinical leadership for 72 residents in our residential aged care facility. You will oversee the nursing team, coordinate care and support a person-centred approach.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Clinical Nurse or RN with residential aged care experience, leading with collaboration and ensuring high standards of care and governance. Sponsorship and relocation support available.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check current.
• Relevant Australian residential aged care experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Registered Nurses, Personal Care Workers and Enrolled Nurses.
• Coordinate safe, effective clinical care and documentation.
• Mentor staff and support performance and teamwork.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and staff.
• Drive continuous improvement across clinical care and service delivery.
• Ensure assessments, care plans and reviews are completed on time and compliant.

About the role

Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Consultant and Residential Care Manager, you will work alongside another Clinical Nurse to oversee the day‑to‑day delivery of high‑quality clinical care for 72 Residents. This hands‑on leadership role will see you guide the nursing and personal care team, coordinate clinical care and contribute to a supportive environment for residents, families and staff.

• Leading and supporting Registered Nurses, Personal Care Workers and Enrolled Nurses in the delivery of high‑quality care
• Coordinating safe, effective and evidence‑based clinical care
• Mentoring staff and contributing to their performance, development and teamwork
• Building positive and professional relationships with residents, families, representatives and internal stakeholders
• Driving continuous improvement across clinical care and service delivery
• Ensuring assessments, care plans, clinical documentation and reviews are completed accurately and within required timeframes
• Maintaining compliance with aged care standards, regulatory obligations, organisational policies and clinical governance requirements

This is a permanent part‑time position at 0.8 FTE, working 64 hours per fortnight across an alternating roster. Week one is Wednesday to Friday, 7:00 am‑3:30 pm, and week two is Wednesday to Sunday, 7:00 am‑3:30 pm.

About you

The successful candidate will be passionate about the aged care industry and committed to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care. You will bring sound clinical skills, a collaborative leadership style and the confidence to support staff, manage competing priorities and communicate sensitively with residents and their families.

To be considered, you will hold:

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Relevant Australian residential aged care experience

This opportunity would suit an experienced Clinical Nurse or a Registered Nurse with 4+ years’ residential aged care experience who is ready to take the next step into a clinical leadership position.
