Job summary

Randstad is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead clinical care for residents in a permanent full-time role in Australia. You will collaborate with an experienced team to deliver high-quality nursing care with a focus on dignity and quality of life, while also supporting leadership duties on site.

The position emphasizes strong clinical assessment, mentoring of staff, and coordination of care plans, with opportunities for professional development and a supportive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum one year’s post-registration nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Full Australian working rights OR eligibility for onshore sponsorship (demonstrated strong experience required).
• Sound clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal capabilities.
• Previous experience in Residential Aged Care.
• Postgraduate qualifications in Aged Care or a related clinical field.
• Familiarity with aged care funding models (e.g., AN-ACC).

Responsibilities

• Delivering safe, evidence-based, person-centred nursing care.
• Leading, mentoring, and supporting care staff and allied health aides.
• Coordinating clinical assessments, care planning, and medication management.
• Responding confidently to clinical emergencies and supporting senior clinical management to maintain best practice standards.
• Fulfilling site leadership responsibilities (e.g., First Aid Officer, Fire Warden) when on duty.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
• Fostering a culture of safety, respect, and continuous quality improvement.
