Job summary

Randstad is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead a clinical team in a resident-focused aged care setting. You will oversee care delivery, mentoring staff, and coordinating assessments and medication management to uphold high standards of quality of life for residents.

The role emphasizes leadership, clinical assessment, and collaboration with management while ensuring regulatory compliance and a culture of safety and respect. Onshore sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum one year's post-registration nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Full Australian working rights OR eligibility for onshore sponsorship (demonstrated strong experience).
• Sound clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal capabilities.
• Previous experience in Residential Aged Care.
• Familiarity with aged care funding models (e.g., AN-ACC).

Responsibilities

• Delivering safe, evidence-based, person-centred nursing care.
• Leading, mentoring, and supporting care staff and allied health aides.
• Coordinating clinical assessments, care planning, and medication management.
• Responding confidently to clinical emergencies.
• Supporting senior clinical management to maintain best practice standards.
• Fulfilling site leadership responsibilities when on duty (e.g., First Aid Officer, Fire Warden).
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
• Fostering a culture of safety, respect, and continuous quality improvement.
