Job summary

Calvary Health Care seeks an experienced Clinical Educator to strengthen workforce capability across NSW aged care and home care services. Based in Sydney Head Office, you will design, deliver and evaluate education programs to ensure safe, quality, person-centred care.

You will lead training initiatives, foster partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders, and travel regularly to sites to support learning in the workplace, with flexible work arrangements for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Clinical Education.
• Flexibility and ability to travel regularly to sites within NSW.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and evaluate clinical education.
• Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, along with high level ICT skills.
• Must have a valid and unrestricted drivers licence.
• Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE).
• Annual flu vaccination required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver workshops, training programs and activities that support person centred care and promote skill development.
• Ensure educational strategies reflect evidence-based best practice and align with workforce development KPIs; establish partnerships with internal Calvary personnel and external stakeholders.
• Oversee design, development, coordination, delivery and evaluation of education related to clinical practice across NSW Calvary aged care and home care services; be responsible for competency assessment of Support Workers, Enrolled Nurses and Registered Nurses; complete required compliance documentation post training.
