Job summary

Harbison in the Southern Highlands seeks a Clinical Educator to lead clinical education across residential and community care, shaping a culture of learning that translates knowledge into safer, person‑centred care.

You will work with operational leaders to develop a contemporary education framework informed by governance data, evidence, and best practice, and you will mentor the Workplace Trainer to drive improvements in staff competency and care quality.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience in clinical education within aged care, health or community services.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Aged Care Act 2024, Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and related codes.
• Strong understanding of clinical governance, quality improvement and adult learning principles.
• Ability to design, deliver and evaluate competency-based education programs.
• Highly developed coaching, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational, analytical and project management skills.
• High level of digital literacy, including Learning Management Systems and Microsoft Office.
