Job summary

MinterEllison's Canberra office is seeking a Client Services Assistant to provide professional hospitality and client service across front-of-house and operations. This 13‑month fixed-term contract offers exposure to a professional services environment and opportunities to support client meetings, events, reception and day-to-day office operations.

We value reliability, customer service, and teamwork; RSA and Food Safety certification is preferred; RSA and Food Safety certification required

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, corporate hospitality, customer service or a similar client-facing environment.
• Barista skills and coffee knowledge (desirable).
• Some experience with software/technology i.e.: Microsoft products/AV Systems/POS Systems.
• A proactive, professional approach and the ability to work well under pressure.
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to support the broader team.
• The ability to obtain RSA and Food Safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hospitality services for client meetings, events and functions, including after-hours support.
• Prepare and serve refreshments, including barista coffee and basic food items.
• Provide reception and switchboard coverage when required.
• Maintain client-facing areas to a high standard and support day-to-day office operation.
