Job summary

Are Media is seeking a commercially driven Client Partner - Directories to turn conversations with Australian businesses into long-term advertising partnerships across our iconic brands both in print and digital media.

You will research prospects, connect with decision-makers, identify business needs, and demonstrate how Are Media’s brands can reach the right audiences. You’ll work with editorial teams, designers and a campaign manager to deliver client advertising.

Qualifications

• Experience in telephone-based sales, outbound sales, telesales or business development, with a demonstrated ability to achieve targets in a high-volume sales environment.
• Strong resilience and persistence, with the motivation to keep building opportunities through rejection and setbacks.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and objection-handling skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport with customers.
• A commercially focused approach, with strong time management and the ability to identify customer needs and turn them into sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth by managing your sales pipeline, achieving targets and identifying opportunities to grow and retain client spend.
• Generate new business through proactive outbound prospecting, lead generation and re-engaging lapsed customers.
• Build trusted client relationships by understanding customer needs and recommending tailored print and digital advertising solutions that align with their business objectives.
• Manage the end-to-end client experience, from maintaining accurate CRM records and sales forecasts through to coordinating bookings, artwork, approvals and proofing.
