Respect invites applications for a Part-time Cleaning Services Assistant at our Maleny site. You’ll maintain a safe, clean environment for residents, staff and visitors, cleaning resident rooms, common areas and facilities while upholding infection control.

We offer flexible shifts on a rotating roster (including weekends), salary packaging benefits, training and development, and a welcoming team committed to dignity and care in a not-for-profit aged care setting.

Competenze

• NDIS worker screen or ability to acquire.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in residential aged care (desirable).

Mansioni

• Clean and sanitise resident rooms, bathrooms, and shared living areas in line with infection control standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas including lounges, dining rooms, corridors, and staff areas.
• Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Dispose of waste and manage linen in accordance with hygiene and safety guidelines.
• Follow cleaning schedules and workplace procedures to maintain high-quality standards.

About the Role:

As a Cleaning Services Assistant, you’ll play an important role in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Working within a residential aged care setting, you’ll be responsible for cleaning resident rooms, shared areas, and facilities while upholding high standards of hygiene and infection control.

We have a Part-time and Casual roles available and require reliable team members who is flexible to work across a rotating roster, including weekends where required. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys contributing to a positive, home-like environment.

No two days are the same! As a Cleaning Services Assistant, you will:

• Clean and sanitise resident rooms, bathrooms, and shared living areas in line with infection control standards
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas including lounges, dining rooms, corridors, and staff areas
• Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment according to workplace procedures
• Dispose of waste and manage linen in accordance with hygiene and safety guidelines
• Follow cleaning schedules and workplace procedures to maintain consistent, high-quality standards

Requirements

• NDIS worker screen and Induction check (or ability to acquire).
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in residential aged care. (desirable)
• To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.
