Job summary

Respect Glenella is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Services Assistant to maintain high cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home. You will help create a safe, homelike environment for residents, visitors and staff, under a casual work arrangement.

Applicants should have cleaning experience, infection control knowledge, and an NDIS certificate or the ability to obtain one. Experience in residential aged care or healthcare settings is highly regarded and encouraged.

About the Role

As a Cleaning Services Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services throughout the home, ensuring all resident rooms, communal areas, and workspaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You'll work as part of a supportive team to help provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

• Previous experience in cleaning services or a similar support services role.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safe handling procedures, and infection prevention and control practices.
• A current National NDIS Certificate (or the ability to obtain one).
• Experience in residential aged care, healthcare, hospitality, or a similar environment is highly regarded.
