Job summary

Catering Industries Pty Ltd in Norlane, VIC is seeking a Cleaning Attendant to support our aged care facilities. You will perform cleaning across resident rooms, public areas, toilets and dining spaces, ensuring hygiene standards are met.

We offer flexible shifts from 8:00am to 12:15pm, with weekly hours plus weekend and Public Holiday loadings. A Federal Police Check is required or willing to obtain one. You must have a valid driver’s licence and be able to work as part of a caring team.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning in an Aged Care facility including resident rooms, public areas, toilets and dining rooms etc.
• Sweeping, scrubbing, vacuuming, mopping and participating in the infection control program
• Maintains records of completion of cleaning schedule duties
• Safe storage and use of cleaning agents including correct cleaning agents used in correct quantities

What we offer:

Monday to Sunday from 8.00am - 12.15pm.

What we need from you:

Key Attributes

• Excellent communication skills. Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Previous cleaning experience, especially scrubbing floors highly regarded.
• Dedication and enthusiasm.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Safe use of chemicals
• Knowledge of Work, Health & Safetyand Infection Control
• High level of respect for the elderly and experience in aged care cleaning will be a bonus.
