Cater Care is seeking Casual Catering Assistants to join our team at Uniting - Nareen Gardens, Bateau Bay. You will be dedicated to delivering exceptional meal service and creating a high-quality dining experience for our residents.

Enjoy a varied roster across the week with opportunities to pick up short-notice shifts, while maintaining food hygiene and providing fast, friendly service during busy periods. Previous kitchen or customer service experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchens or food preparation and/or customer service is advantageous.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Pride in personal appearance and hygiene.
• Experience in retirement living or hospital/medical sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and meal service for residents.

Roster:

Enjoy a varied schedule across the week, with opportunities to pick up short-notice shifts.

What this role involves:

• Assisting with food preparation
• Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
• Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
• Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
• Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service would be well regarded
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
• Previous experience in retirement living or hospital/medical sector would be well regarded
