Job summary
Catering Industries Pty Ltd is seeking Catering Assistants for an aged care facility in Kingswood, NSW. Join a vibrant kitchen team and contribute to daily meal service for elderly residents in a structured, support-focused environment.
Shifts include Thursday and Friday mornings; pay is competitive with casual loading. A current Federal Police Check is required, with training provided to ensure quality service.
Qualifications
- Aged Care experience is desirable, but not necessary.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Empathy and respect towards residents, staff and clients.
- The ability to support the chefs and the team in a busy kitchen.
- Well-presented with good customer service.
- Access to own reliable transport.
Responsibilities
- Providing meal service to elderly residents.
- Cleaning of serveries, kitchen and dining room set up.
- Adhering to and completing quality assurance documents.
- Washing dishes in the main kitchen and plating of meals.
- Preparing salads and sandwiches in the main kitchen.
- Function set up and clear down.
- Assist the Chef and Chef Manager as required in day-to-day tasks.
- Food and beverage service.

We’re looking for enthusiastic Catering Assistants to become part of the vibrant kitchen team at our client’s aged care facility in Kingswood, NSW. If you’re passionate about great food and love making a difference in the daily lives of older Australians, this is the role for you!
This roster is ideal for candidates who enjoy variety, stability, and a well‑structured work pattern.
- Choose your shifts: Thursday and Friday from 6.30am till 2.30pm.
- Competitive pay: $27.08/hr + casual loading ($33.85/hr Mon–Fri for casual role)
- A current Federal Police Check (or willingness to obtain one) is required for this role.
- Aged Care experience is desirable, but not necessary.
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to multi-task and perform work within deadlines
- Empathy and respect towards aged care residents, staff and clients.
- The ability to support the chefs and the team in a busy kitchen.
- Well-presented and good customer service skills.
- Access to own reliable transport.
