You will join a supportive team, helping with meal service, kitchen cleaning and resident dining support, while upholding high standards of cleanliness and safety for residents.

Qualifications

• Police Check (National Police Certificate) is essential.
• At least 1 year experience as catering attendant or cleaner.
• Experience in an aged care environment is desirable.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and passion for elderly care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, delivery, and maintaining a clean, hygienic kitchen.
• Perform cleaning duties: dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and surface upkeep.
• Support residents' dining needs and provide excellent service.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene.
• Follow infection control and food handling procedures.
• Contribute to a safe, welcoming dining environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with general meal preparation, meal delivery, and maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen.
• Perform cleaning duties including dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and maintaining surfaces such as windows and doors
• Support residents' dining needs and provide excellent customer service
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene
• Follow infection control and food handling procedures
• Participate in kitchen cleaning and equipment
• Contribute to a safe, welcoming, and positive dining environment for residents

About You:

Police Check (National Police Certificate) (Essential)

At least 1 year experience as a catering attendant or cleaner (Desirable)

Previous experience as a catering attendant in an aged care environment (Desirable)

Excellent customer service and communication skills
