Job summary

Ventia is seeking casual relief cleaners for WoodLinks State School in Collingwood Park, QLD. Shifts run Monday to Friday, 4:00am–8:00am and/or 2:00pm–6:00pm, with pay from $33.85 per hour plus penalties and super. The role supports the cleaning team across classrooms, offices and facilities.

This casual position offers flexible hours, ongoing training, and the potential for ongoing employment based on performance and Department of Education requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have current Blue Card.
• Must have National Police Check (issued within last 3 months).
• Fluent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Able to perform physical cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, offices and common areas.
• Vacuum, mop and sweep floors.
• Clean toilets and amenities.
• Spot-clean touch points and surfaces.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment for students and staff.

We're looking for flexible School Cleaners to support the team at WoodLinks State School.

Role Details

Location: WoodLinks State School, Collingwood Park, QLD

Pay: from $33.85 per hour plus penalties and Super

Contract: Casual Relief role with the potential for ongoing employment based on performance and Department of Education requirements

Monday To Friday Shifts

Morning 4:00am-8:00am

and/or

Afternoon 2:00pm-6:00pm

Please note: This is casual relief work. Shifts are used to cover leave and absences and are not guaranteed each week.

What You'll Be Doing

• Cleaning classrooms, offices and common areas
• Vacuuming, mopping and sweeping
• Cleaning toilets and amenities
• Spot cleaning touch points and surfaces
• Helping maintain a clean, safe environment for students and staff

What You'll Need

• Current Blue Card
• National Police Check (issued within the last 3 months)
• Confident verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to complete physical cleaning tasks
• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
