Qualifications

• Work independently with attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and available for evening shifts.
• Good written and spoken English.

Position: Cleaner
Location: Sydney CBD
Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00pm to 10:00pm

• Weekend Work: Available for those seeking extra hours
• Contract: Casual, with the opportunity to transition to permanent employment based on performance and business requirements
• Travel: 2 to 4 sites per shift
• Roster: Fortnightly roster with shifts starting at one of the allocated sites

About the Role

You will clean a variety of community facilities including:

• Libraries
• Childcare centres
• Town halls
• Community venues
• Recreation centres
• Depot facilities

Key Duties

• Cleaning bathrooms and amenities
• Maintaining kitchens and common areas
• Vacuuming and general floor care
• Dusting surfaces and touchpoints
• Collecting rubbish
• General cleaning duties
• Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment

Training

During your training period, you will work across multiple sites to learn the contract and build experience.

Once fully trained, you will transition to a primary site.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must:

• Have previous cleaning experience
• Have a reliable vehicle and be able to travel between sites
• Be physically fit and capable of performing all cleaning duties
• Hold a National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months
• Be able to pass a medical assessment and drug & alcohol test
• Work independently with strong attention to detail
• Be reliable, punctual and committed to evening shifts
• Have a good level of written and spoken English
