Role Details

Position: Cleaning Supervisor

Location: Murrumba State Secondary College, Murrumba Downs, QLD

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm

Pay: From $75,000 per year (inclusive of superannuation), with higher remuneration available for candidates with relevant experience

Contract: Permanent Full-Time

Please note that flexibility is required, as working hours may occasionally need to be adjusted to support school operational requirements.

About The Role

Lead and support a team of cleaners, coordinate daily operations, and help create a clean, safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors.

Working closely with your team and school stakeholders, you will drive service quality and foster a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support cleaning team members


• Coordinate daily cleaning activities and allocate resources effectively


• Ensure services are delivered to contractual and quality standards


• Monitor safety, compliance and performance requirements


• Build positive relationships with school staff and stakeholders


• Assist with Facilities Management activities as required


• Create a supportive and accountable team environment

About You

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience

• A commitment to maintaining high standards within a school environment

Previous experience working within a Department of Education environment is highly regarded but not essential.

Mandatory Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must hold:

• A current Blue Card


• A National Police Clearance issued within the last three months
