Job summary

Ventia seeks reliable school cleaners to support NSW government sites across the Blue Mountains region. You will work permanent or casual roles with consistent Monday to Friday hours, contributing to safe, clean learning environments for students and staff.

Roles include early morning and afternoon shifts, with uniform and equipment supplied. Applicants must hold WWCC and be able to obtain Probity Clearance; driving is preferred for travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.
• Cleared Working With Children Check (WWCC).
• Ability to obtain Probity Clearance (provided at no cost).
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Available Monday to Friday, 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, toilets, offices and common areas.
• Maintain high hygiene and presentation standards.
• Empty bins and manage waste disposal.
• Perform light outdoor duties (e.g., leaf blowing, cobweb removal).
• Follow cleaning procedures and safety requirements.

Join our team cleaning NSW Government schools across Winmalee, Blaxland, Katoomba and surrounding suburbs. We offer permanent and casual opportunities, consistent Monday to Friday hours, and the security of working in essential facilities that make a difference in your local community.

Positions Available At The Following Sites

• Blaxland High School (5am to 9am and 2pm to 6pm, Split shift)
• Faulconbridge Public School (5am to 9am and 2pm to 6pm, Split Shift)
• Casual positions available (5am to 9am and 2pm to 6pm, split shifts)

Please note: Applicants must be available to work 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, to be considered.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of our cleaning team, you'll help create clean, safe, and welcoming learning environments by:

• Cleaning classrooms, toilets, offices, and common areas
• Maintaining high hygiene and presentation standards
• Emptying bins and managing waste disposal
• Performing light outdoor duties such as leaf blowing and removing cobwebs
• Following cleaning procedures and safety requirements
