Job summary

Ventia is hiring cleaners to support NSW Government schools in the Richmond area. We offer permanent and casual positions with consistent Monday to Friday hours in essential facilities within the local community.

Successful applicants will clean classrooms, toilets, offices and common areas, maintain high hygiene standards and follow safety procedures, with some light outdoor duties as needed. Driver's licence, WWCC and Probity Clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Must hold a cleared Working With Children Check (WWCC).
• Must be able to obtain Probity Clearance at no cost.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Available to work Monday to Friday, five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, toilets, offices and common areas.
• Maintain high hygiene and presentation standards.
• Empty bins and manage waste disposal.
• Perform light outdoor duties such as leaf blowing and cobweb removal.
• Follow cleaning procedures and safety requirements.

Positions Available At The Following Sites

• Colo High School (5am to 9am and 2pm to 6pm, split shifts)
• Richmond Public School (5am to 9am and 2pm to 6pm, split shifts)

Please note: Applicants must be available to work 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, to be considered.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of our cleaning team, you'll help create clean, safe, and welcoming learning environments by:

• Cleaning classrooms, toilets, offices, and common areas
• Maintaining high hygiene and presentation standards
• Emptying bins and managing waste disposal
• Performing light outdoor duties such as leaf blowing and removing cobwebs
• Following cleaning procedures and safety requirements

What You'll Need

• Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
• Cleared Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Ability to obtain a Probity Clearance (provided at no cost)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Available Monday to Friday, 5 days per week
