Job summary

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms and other areas to maintain high hygiene standards.

• Follow infection control procedures and use PPE to prevent the spread of infections.
• Stock cleaning and hygiene supplies, ensuring accessibility for residents and staff.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and cleaning trolleys.

About the Role

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Cleaning and Disinfecting: Regularly clean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and other areas throughout the facility.
• Waste Management: Dispose of waste, including both regular trash and medical waste, in accordance with proper guidelines and safety protocols.
• Infection Control: Follow strict infection control procedures, such as using appropriate cleaning agents and personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of infections.
• Stocking Supplies: Ensure that cleaning and hygiene supplies (such as soaps, sanitizers, and cleaning agents) are adequately stocked and available for residents and staff.
• Equipment: Using floor scrubbers, vacuums, cleaning trolleys and consumables.
