Job summary

Arcare Aged Care in Sydney is seeking a dedicated cleaner to support our residents and maintain a safe, hygienic environment across the facility.

You will regularly clean resident rooms and common areas, manage waste, stock supplies, and follow infection control procedures with PPE to protect residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and Disinfecting: Regularly clean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and other areas throughout the facility.
• Waste Management: Dispose of waste, including both regular trash and medical waste, in accordance with proper guidelines and safety protocols.
• Infection Control: Follow strict infection control procedures, such as using appropriate cleaning agents and PPE to prevent the spread of infections.
• Stocking Supplies: Ensure that cleaning and hygiene supplies (such as soaps, sanitizers, and cleaning agents) are adequately stocked and available for residents and staff.
• Equipment: Using floor scrubbers, vacuums, cleaning trolleys and consumables.
