Job summary

St Joseph's Primary School in Grenfell, NSW, invites applications for Classroom Teacher roles to plan, deliver, and assess teaching programs that support student achievement and wellbeing.

Two 12-month temporary positions (full-time 76 hours per fortnight and part-time 60.8 hours per fortnight) cover leave absences, with opportunities for professional development within CACGEL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Teaching degree required.
• NSW accreditation and WWCC required.
• Accreditation per CACGEL policy.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess teaching and learning programs to support student achievement and wellbeing.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment and communicate with parents and carers.

Education

Bachelor of Education/Teaching or Master of Teaching

NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation

NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)

Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy

Job description

Salary Range

$83,872 to $141,997 plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.

About The Role

The Classroom Teacher plans, delivers, and assesses teaching and learning programs to support student achievement and wellbeing. Maintains a safe and inclusive learning environment, monitors student progress, communicates with parents and carers, collaborates with colleagues, and fulfils administrative and professional responsibilities in line with school policies and curriculum requirements.

Two 12-month temporary positions (full-time 76 hours & part-time 60.8 hours per fortnight) are available to cover leave absences.
