Job summary

Catholic Education - Archdiocese Canberra & Goulburn Grenfell NSW is seeking a Classroom Teacher to plan, deliver and assess learning programs that support student achievement and wellbeing. This role requires maintaining a safe, inclusive classroom and communicating with families.

Two 12-month temporary positions are available (full-time 76 hours per fortnight; part-time 60.8 hours per fortnight). Applicants must meet NSW teaching qualifications and WWCC requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold NSW accreditation to teach in NSW schools.
• WWCC required for employment.
• Accreditation in line with CACGEL policy.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess teaching and learning programs to support student achievement and wellbeing.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment and monitor student progress.
• Communicate with parents and carers and collaborate with colleagues; fulfill administrative responsibilities.

Salary Range:$83,872 to $141,997 plus superannuation. Salary is determined based on years of teaching service.
Employment Status:Full-time and part-time appointments available
Eligibility:Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Start Date:January 2027, Term One | 12-month contract

About the Role

The Classroom Teacher plans, delivers, and assesses teaching and learning programs to support student achievement and wellbeing. Maintains a safe and inclusive learning environment, monitors student progress, communicates with parents and carers, collaborates with colleagues, and fulfils administrative and professional responsibilities in line with school policies and curriculum requirements.
