Job summary

St Paul's College, Kempsey invites applications for Classroom and Learning Support roles. Four full-time temporary positions, 60 hours per FTE, commencing 28 January 2027, for 12 months. Classification Level 4 under the NSW/ACT Catholic Schools Enterprise Agreement.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of and commitment to Catholic ethos and mission of the school.

• Willingness to undertake further training to aid children with special needs.
• Experience collaborating with teaching staff in a classroom setting.

• hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
• comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment

Applicants Must Be Able To Demonstrate The Following Criteria:

• a knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school.
• experience in working with children with special needs, including children on the autistic spectrum
• awareness of the needs of students with diagnosed allergies and training in the use of EpiPen
• ability to successfully implement programs and document progress regarding individual and/or small group support
• preparedness to undertake further training in aiding children with special needs
• experience in working collaboratively with teaching staff in a classroom environment
