Job summary

TAL in Australia is seeking a proactive Claims Service Consultant to support customers through claims lodgement and information gathering, assess claims, and initiate appropriate support options tailored to each case.

You will record data accurately, communicate with customers and internal stakeholders, adhere to TAL policies and privacy laws, and collaborate across Claims to drive efficient, empathetic service.

Qualifications

• Experience in Financial Services/Insurance preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to manage conversations with empathy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with high integrity.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound customer calls and provide high-quality support for new claims and enquiries.
• Accurately record and maintain claim information in internal systems to a high standard.
• Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve claim-related matters and support progression.
• Ensure compliance with TAL policies, privacy, and regulatory requirements in all activities.
• Collaborate with TAL Claims and other departments to improve processes and customer outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance the customer experience.
