Job summary

Morgan Consulting Idibu is partnering with a leading specialist claims and legal services organisation to appoint Claims Account Managers in Melbourne or Sydney. This hybrid role manages a portfolio of complex insurance claims, providing strategic advice and stakeholder management for insurer clients.

Ideal candidates will have an LLB or equivalent and at least 2 years' post-graduate experience in insurance claims, or strong motor/property claims background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with at least 2 years post-graduate experience within insurance claims.
• Strong Motor/Property Claims experience (law degree not required for motor claims specialists).
• Experience working for an insurer, underwriting agency, claims management business, legal practice or loss adjusting organisation.
• Ability to assess liability, interpret policy coverage and drive claims through to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Managing an end-to-end portfolio of complex insurance claims
• Assessing liability, indemnity and financial exposure
• Setting and reviewing reserves
• Developing effective claims strategies to achieve timely and commercial outcomes
• Liaising with insurers, brokers, insureds, lawyers, investigators and external service providers
• Negotiating settlements and resolving disputes
• Identifying recovery opportunities where appropriate
• Preparing high-quality reports and recommendations for clients
• Maintaining excellent client relationships through proactive communication
• Managing a busy portfolio while consistently delivering service excellence

We're partnering with a leading specialist claims and legal services organisation that manages complex insurance claims on behalf of Australia's largest insurers. Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint a Claims Account Managers to join their established teams.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging claims, manage your own portfolio, and build your expertise within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Who we're looking for

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
