Job summary

City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters is seeking a skilled Civil Works Coordinator to deliver the annual Civil Infrastructure Capital Works Program, including roads, footpaths, and kerbs and gutters, across the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters.

You will manage contracts, coordinate with lead contractors, and ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards expected by residents and businesses.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering civil infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and applicable regulations.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and contractors.
• Experience in local government or public sector is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop project schedules for the Civil Capital Works Program and allocate resources.
• Liaise with contractors and internal teams to deliver works on time and within budget.
• Perform site visits and verify works meet specifications and quality benchmarks.
• Conduct contract administration and financial record-keeping.
• Assist with other renewal projects as required.
