Qualifications

• Proven experience in civil construction.
• Previous supervisory or leading hand experience.
• Valid excavator operator tickets and plant licences.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• White Card (Construction Induction) – essential.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site operations and coordinate crews, subcontractors, and plant.
• Operate excavators and other machinery as required.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Maintain safety with WHS regulations.
• Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
• Liaise with project managers and clients.
• Manage materials, equipment, and site resources efficiently.
