Job summary

Scott Electrical Services in Sydney CBD NSW is seeking a skilled Civil Labourer to join our growing civil crew. You will work on pipe and cable laying near electrical networks, with duties in excavation support and backfilling.

The role requires an MR licence and White Card, at least two years in civil or pipelaying, and experience with excavators or spotting around live services. Ausgrid/Endeavour experience and crane familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• MR licence and White Card are required.
• Minimum 2 years in general civil or pipelaying.
• Experience with excavator and spotting around live services.
• Ausgrid/Endeavour experience preferred.
• Truck mounted crane experience preferred.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Work safely on or near electrical distribution networks.
• Assist civil crew with conduit installation and trench backfilling.
• Spot around live services while assisting excavator operators.
• Transport materials and operate plant/machinery to site.
• Permanent full-time position with regular overtime.
• Rostered days off; PPE supplied and training support available.

Scott Electrical Services (SES) are a Level 1 & 2 accredited service provider with over 20 years experience working on the Ausgrid and Endeavour Energy networks.

We are a busy, fast growing, electrical infrastructure company, looking for an experienced civil labourer to join our highly motivated team.

Qualifications:

MR licence

White card

General civil/pipelaying experience with a minimum of 2 years

Experience in use of excavator and or spotting around live services

Ausgrid & Endeavour experience preferred

Truck mounted crane experience preferred

Knowledge of workplace health and safety

Duties:-

Working safely on or near the electrical distribution network

Being part of a civil crew involved with the excavation, installation of conduit & backfilling of trenches

Assisting excavator operators with spotting around live services

Driving trucks to bring materials to & from site including plant & machinery

Regular overtime

Permanent full time position

Rostered days off

We will cover the cost of regulatory training for successful candidates

All uniform & PPE supplied
