Tungsten Mining are advancing the development of our Watershed Project, located 130km north of Cairns, and are seeking Civil and Non-Processing Infrastructure (NPI) Supervisors to join our project delivery team on site.
Reporting into your respective discipline Senior Project Engineers, you will ultimately be responsible for the site-base supervision, coordination and delivery of either NPI or Civil construction activities. Additional role responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following.
Supervise and coordinate day-to-day construction activities across civil and NPI work fronts.
Monitor contractor performance against safety, quality, schedule and budget objectives
Coordinate multiple contractors, vendors and specialist subcontractors.
Review construction programs and monitor productivity and progress.
Conduct site inspections and provide regular progress reporting.
Ensure works are completed in accordance with approved designs, drawings and specifications.
Coordinate inspections, hold points, witness points and quality documentation requirements.
Assist with progress claim assessments and verification of completed quantities.
Manage defects, non-conformances and corrective actions.
Participate in risk assessments, JHAs and SWMS reviews.
5+ years' experience supervising civil construction projects within mining, infrastructure or heavy industry
Strong contractor management and site leadership experience
Proven experience delivering earthworks, roads, drainage and concrete packages
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Strong understanding of safety, quality and environmental requirements
Supervisor S123 (formerly G189), White Card and current driver's licence
A practical, hands-on approach with strong communication and problem-solving skills
