Job summary

Tungsten Mining is seeking Civil Project Engineers, including Senior Project Engineers, to support the construction and delivery of civil and non-process infrastructure for the Watershed Project in North Queensland.

You will work with senior project leaders, contractors and consultants to coordinate construction activities, solve engineering challenges and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in mining, infrastructure or heavy civil projects.
• Skilled with civil works, earthworks, roads, drainage, utilities and/or non-process infrastructure (NPI).
• Understanding of contractor management and project delivery processes.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery processes.
• Strong planning, organisation and communication skills.
• Practical approach to problem solving.
• Desire to learn, grow and take ownership of project outcomes.

The Role

We are looking for Non-Processing Infrastructure (NPI) and Civil Project Engineers, including Senior Project Engineers, to support the construction and delivery of civil and non-process infrastructure projects across our Watershed Project.

You will work closely with senior project leaders, contractors and consultants to help coordinate construction activities, solve engineering challenges, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard. Additionally, core role responsibilities will include the following.

• Support delivery of civil and NPI construction packages.

• Coordinate contractors and consultants during project execution.

• Monitor construction progress and project performance.

• Assist with engineering reviews, RFIs and constructability assessments.
