Job summary

Tungsten Mining is seeking Civil and Non-Processing Infrastructure Supervisors to join the Watershed Project delivery team on site, 130km north of Cairns. You will supervise civil and NPI works, coordinate multiple contractors and ensure progress against safety, quality and schedule.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years supervising civil construction in mining or heavy industry, strong contractor management, and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience supervising civil construction in mining or heavy industry.
• Experience coordinating multiple contractors and site teams.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day construction activities across civil and NPI work fronts.
• Monitor contractor performance against safety, quality, schedule and budget objectives.
• Coordinate multiple contractors, vendors and specialist subcontractors.
• Review construction programs and monitor productivity and progress.
• Conduct site inspections and provide regular progress reporting.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with approved designs, drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate inspections, hold points, witness points and quality documentation requirements.
• Assist with progress claim assessments and verification of completed quantities.
• Manage defects, non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Participate in risk assessments, JHAs and SWMS reviews.
