Job summary

City of Moreton Bay is seeking a Crew Leader in the Roads and Drains team to supervise maintenance tasks on civil infrastructure. You’ll lead a labourer, allocate materials, identify defects and implement practical maintenance solutions to keep assets safe and well maintained.

You’ll drive planned and reactive works across roads and drainage networks, using safety procedures and Council systems, while ensuring records and training are up to date.

Qualifications

• Hands-on civil infrastructure maintenance experience with leadership on jobs.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to safely perform manual tasks and use council systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance tasks in the Roads and Drains team and allocate materials.
• Identify asset defects and implement practical maintenance solutions.
• Ensure area remains safe, tidy and well maintained across planned/reactive works.
• Use council systems to manage work orders and maintain records.
