This entry-level program focuses on developing practical skills, safe work practices, teamwork and career progression within NSW Government. It is an on-site, in-person opportunity with structured support and clear pathways.

Qualifications

• You are an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or an Australian permanent resident.
• You have completed Year 10 or RoSA or equivalent.
• You are ready to commence full-time employment in March 2027.
• You hold, or are in the process of obtaining, a C Class driver licence.
• You have access to reliable transport to travel to the office or depot.
• You are comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, or near live traffic as required.
• You are willing to travel as part of your role.
• You have basic computer literacy skills.
• You demonstrate teamwork and maintain a positive, accountable approach.
• You take pride in delivering your best across school, work, and personal life.

Responsibilities

• Gains hands-on civil construction experience while learning on the job.
• Participates in structured in-person classes at TAFE for Certificate III.
• Develops key workplace skills including communication, teamwork and problem solving.
• Contributes to a supportive learning environment during the apprenticeship.
