Job summary

Transport for NSW invites applications for the Civil Construction Apprenticeship intake starting March 2027, based in Nabiac and Heatherbrae, NSW. This 3-year fixed-term, full-time program combines paid work with structured training toward a nationally recognised qualification.

No prior experience required. You'll gain hands-on experience, develop essential workplace skills such as communication and teamwork, and have a clear pathway to a career in civil construction.

Qualifications

• Completion of Year 10 or RoSA or equivalent.
• Australian or New Zealand citizen, or permanent resident.
• Ready to commence full-time employment in March 2027.
• Hold, or be in the process of obtaining, a C Class driver licence.
• Access to reliable transport to travel to the office or depot.
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, or near live traffic.
• Willing to travel as part of the role.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Demonstrate teamwork and maintain a positive, accountable approach.
• Pride in delivering your best across school, work, and life.
• Proactively seek opportunities to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
• Manage time effectively and stay organized.
