Job summary

Transport for NSW invites applications for the Civil Construction Apprenticeship based in Tamworth, commencing March 2027. This three-year fixed-term full-time program blends paid work with structured training to develop practical skills in civil construction.

You will gain hands-on experience toward a nationally recognised qualification with no previous experience required. Applicants should be Australian/New Zealand citizens or permanent residents and be prepared for local travel and on-site

Qualifications

Completed Year 10 or RoSA or equivalent.
Ready to commence full-time in March 2027.
Hold or are obtaining a C Class driver licence.
Access to reliable transport to travel to the office or depot.
Willing to travel and work at heights, in confined spaces, or near live traffic.
Demonstrates teamwork and positive, accountable approach to work and study.

Responsibilities

Earn while you learn, combining paid work with structured training.
Gain a nationally recognised qualification through on-the-job and classroom learning.
Support civil construction tasks and safety practices on-site.
