Job summary

Transport for NSW seeks entry-level Civil Construction Apprentices to learn on-site in Mardi, NSW, commencing March 2027. You will combine paid work with structured training to gain a Certificate III in Civil Construction (Road Construction and Maintenance) through in-person classes at TAFE.

No prior experience is required. You will gain hands-on experience and develop skills in communication, teamwork, and problem solving while working toward a nationally recognised qualification.

Qualifications

• Year 10 completion or RoSA or equivalent.
• C Class driver licence (required).
• Reliable transport to travel to office/depot.
• Willing to travel as part of role.
• Able to work at heights, in confined spaces, or near live traffic as required.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Demonstrates teamwork and a positive, accountable approach.
