Job summary

Transport for NSW is offering a 3-year fixed-term, full-time Civil Construction Apprenticeship based in Heatherbrae and Nabiac, NSW. You’ll learn through paid work and structured training to gain a Certificate III in Civil Construction with hands-on experience in road construction and maintenance.

No prior experience is required; the program commences March 2027. This entry-level opportunity focuses on learning, development, and growing skills within a NSW Government agency.

Qualifications

• Must be Australian or New Zealand citizen, or Australian permanent resident.
• Ready to commence full-time employment in March 2027.
• Hold, or be in the process of obtaining, a C Class driver licence.
• Access to reliable transport to travel to the office or depot.
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, or near live traffic as required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Civil Construction apprenticeship with structured in-person training.
• Gain hands-on experience and undertake a nationally recognised qualification.
• Develop workplace skills including communication, teamwork and problem solving.
