Job summary

Whitehaven Coal Limited in the Gunnedah region is seeking a dedicated CHPP Operator to support the Coal Handling and Preparation Plant. You will operate CHPP/Train loading facilities and mobile equipment, monitor performance and ensure safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CHPP/Train loading facilities and mobile plant equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Ability to work a rotating 12.5-hour day and night roster.
• CHPP, mining or heavy industry experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor CHPP and Train loading facilities.
• Operate mobile plant, wheel loaders and coal stockpile dozers.
• Monitor plant performance and complete routine inspections.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting and reporting equipment issues.
• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with site procedures.
