Job summary

Daunia Mine, operated by Whitehaven Coal Limited in Queensland, seeks a CHPP Operator - Processing to run and maintain the Coal Handling & Preparation Plant safely and efficiently. You will work rotating day/night rosters, performing inspections, troubleshooting and routine maintenance in collaboration with site personnel.

Applicants should hold a Certificate 3 in Engineering - Mechanical Trade and bring prior production and maintenance experience on large process plants, with knowledge of CHPP

Qualifications

Current Certificate 3 in Engineering - Mechanical Trade.
Experience in large-scale processing plants and CHPP operations.
Experience with complex plant isolations and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain the CHPP to support safe, reliable plant performance.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on CHPP equipment.
Diagnose and repair equipment faults to minimize downtime.
Maintain safety and mechanical standards and document maintenance records.
Monitor plant performance to optimize production and quality.
