You will manage the CHPP and Boonal TLO teams, drive production efficiency, and partner with other departments to optimise safety and plant performance while delivering on budget and schedule.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant tertiary degree in related disciplines is advantageous.
• Experience with Coal Mining/CHPP and large-scale production operating environments is required.
• Demonstrated experience in a senior leadership role in mining operations is required.
• Contractor management and relationship management experience.
• Experience leading a diverse team to deliver safety and operational outcomes.
• Experience implementing continuous improvement strategies with financial acumen.
• Understanding of Queensland Coal Mining Legislation obligations.
• Commitment to safety and risk management.

Aufgaben

• Responsible for effectively managing CHPP and Boonal TLO operations, maintenance and contractor teams to optimise coal production.
• Provide leadership to promote safety, teamwork, plant performance and cost control.
• Oversee strategic direction of Production Overburden department.
• Interface with aligned departments to optimise safety, maintenance and production efficiencies.
• Monitor operating costs and ensure spend stays within budget.
