Job summary

Mangoola Coal, a modern open-cut coal operation, is seeking a safety-focused Electrical Trade Qualified Technician to join the CHPP Maintenance Team. This permanent full-time role involves maintaining and improving the Coal Handling and Preparation Plant, with a focus on safety, reliability, and performance.

Qualifications

Experience as a technician in a CHPP or fixed plant industrial setting.
Familiar with crushers, conveyors, vibrating screens, centrifuges, industrial pumps.
Strong safety mindset and proactive maintenance approach.

Responsibilities

Complete planned and reactive maintenance across CHPP plant and equipment.
Inspect, maintain and repair equipment to high standards.
Identify and address equipment issues to support safe, reliable plant operation.
Collaborate with CHPP and maintenance teams to meet priorities.
Participate in fault finding, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
