Job summary

Airbus Australia is seeking a Head of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul to lead national and international MRO activities across Australia and New Zealand. You will champion a unified maintenance system, ensure safety and compliance, and sponsor CAMO and Release to Service processes to protect quality and safety standards.

You will oversee a large, regulated operation with multi-site management, fiscal accountability, and a drive for on-time, high-quality MRO deliveries while upholding Airbus

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years within a regulated aviation maintenance environment.
• At least 10 years of senior leadership roles.
• 5 years in Aircraft Heavy Maintenance.
• 5 years in Component Maintenance.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct budget accountability and financial stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary focal point for national and international authorities (CASA, EASA, CAANZ, DASA).
• Maintain MOE and CAME as living operational standards to retain Part 145 and Part 42 approvals.
• Ensure every product released is safe and compliant with all ADs and SBs.
• Drive on-time, high-quality MRO deliveries byoptimising maintenance schedules for asset availability.
• Lead the Integrated Safety Management System (iSMS) and foster a safety-first culture.
• Ensure maintenance is performed by highly qualified and authorised personnel.
• Assist in implementing long-term policies and fiscal responsibility within budgets.
• Provide high-level advice to management and contractors to sustain a high-performing culture.
• Uphold Airbus Values and Code of Conduct with strict security, quality, and safety standards.
