Based at our Pipe Road, chemical manufacturing facility in Laverton North we are looking for a Experienced Chemical/High Hazard Production Operator to join our Production Formulation team. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of the production process, including material handling, equipment operation, process monitoring, quality control, warehousing, and various support activities.
This role may work across a rotating morning/afternoon roster with regular RDO’s
You will have previous experience operating in a chemical manufacturing or high-hazard environment, both indoors and outdoors and be safety-minded, with the ability to identify potential hazards and risks in a high-risk environment.
You enjoy working both autonomously and as part of a close team environment and have an interest in further training and development opportunities. A forklift license is essential to the role. You will have a strong attention to detail and be committed to maintaining quality standards and following established procedures.
You will be comfortable using computers and basic workplace systems, with the ability to accurately enter and record information as required. You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with contractors and internal teams and be prepared to work flexible hours.
You will be physically capable of undertaking manual handling tasks as required, with a strong focus on using safe lifting techniques and following appropriate procedures to minimise the risk of injury. Nufarm provides the opportunity to learn while you work, with regular skill sign-offs as you develop and progress in the role
