Job summary

Agromillora Australia is seeking a casual Chemical Spray Operator to join our team on an as-needed basis in Victoria. The role involves safe chemical applications to support pest, disease, foliar and weed management programs, with an anticipated workload of about 15–20 hours per week.

You will calibrate spray equipment, maintain safety standards and record chemical use. The ideal candidate has a Chemical Handling Certificate (ACUP), spraying experience in agriculture or horticulture, a valid

Qualifications

Current Chemical Handling Certificate (ACUP) or equivalent.
Experience in agricultural or horticultural spraying.
Solid understanding of pest and disease management.
Commitment to safety, quality and environmental care.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

Carry out pest and disease management activities across the nursery and mother block.
Perform foliar and weed control according to spray schedules.
Ensure all spraying and handling of chemicals meet OHS and company safety standards.
Maintain, calibrate and safely operate spray equipment and machinery.
Accurately record all chemical use in spray diaries.
