Job summary

Cabana is seeking full-time chefs for a demanding, high-volume kitchen in Sydney. From line cook to sous, you’ll join a vibrant team backed by the Tilley & Wills Hospitality Group. Expect competitive pay and opportunities across our NSW/SA venues.

You will work with a bold menu, contribute to specials, and grow within a supportive, energetic crew. Training and pathways to advance are available within Cabana’s portfolio.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or hands-on experience in a similar high-volume venue.
• Passion for food and hospitality, and strong teamwork.
• Ability to stay calm, focused and switched-on during busy services.
• Full-time availability, including weekends and nights.

Responsibilities

• Cook to a high standard on a fast-paced, high-volume section.
• Bring energy, consistency and pride to every service.
• Work closely with Head Chef and kitchen team to maintain standards.
• Help shape specials, seasonal tweaks and prep systems.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized and safe.

What you'll be doing

• Cooking to a high standard on a fast-paced, high-volume section
• Bringing energy, consistency and pride to every service
• Working closely with our Head Chef and kitchen team to keep standards sharp and service smooth
• Helping shape specials, seasonal menu tweaks and prep systems
• Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and safe - because good chefs run tight ships

What you bring

• Trade qualification or solid hands-on experience in a similar high-volume venue
• A genuine passion for food, hospitality and working as part of a team
• The ability to stay cool, focused and switched-on when it gets busy
• Strong food safety and kitchen management knowledge
• Full-time availability, including weekends and nights
